I have had vitiligo since i was 4 years old and have never used any medication to treat it. i have had vitiligo for about 6 years and i find that sun exposure has the oposite affect it makes my patches increase in size and also appear in different areas of the body.i am covered head to toe in patches and it only ever seems to get worse,and as for the hair turning white i have small patches on my head wher the hair is turning white but the one advantage i have is i am losing my hair haha but seriously i want rid of these patches so please please please if anyone knows of any successfull remedies please let me know ther are too many conartists out ther and i would like genuine help thanks

I have had vitiligo since i was 7 and now I'm 18. I gave up seeking any medical help because there was never any progress. So for now I'm just living and trying to cope with this disorder.
I agree with Dibley. Sun exposure makes my patches increase. It always seems to get worse every time I get a tan or stay out in the sun too much. I try not to get too much sun from time to time. But recently i have noticed that my patches are getting smaller. :) I hope i can read your stories.

Hi all,

I have had vitligo since 2001. and it was spreading at a very slow pace. now i am ready to get rid of it and recovering slowly. i am taking ayurvedic medicine and doing breathing yoga. it is helping me and i can see small spots of re-pigmentation and white hairs turning black. even if you guys just do breathing yoga you do not need any medication and vitiligo will be gone as it was never there. for more info anybody can buzz me at sendemail8@gmail.com
