Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

Was diagnosed at the age of 8, started treatment with Melagenina plus at age of 14. I'm about to turn 30 and no mayor spread has ocurred. Have about 2% on my lips wich has regained some pigment and decreased in size and have another spot of about 1% on my back wich has not changed much.

My main advice is to keep an open mind. I was fortunate that my parents did not give up on trying different solutions although doctors were very pessimistic about a cure.

Most of all learning to deal with the condition is crucial, we have to accept it and learn to deal with the stress of our everyday life properly (stress will only make it worse). From my experience stress always made it grow and in my mind that is why it started in the first place. At the most traumatic times of my life.

Now when I look at my face, I embrace it. I am not in conflict with the condition. I am in harmony with it. I try not to fear it (the spread of it). I think positive messages in my mind and encourage its healing as I feel that the mind is poweful and we have the ability to heal ourselves.

So my success has to do with my atitude with it, and the melagenina plus treatment.

Good luck and remember there is a solution to everything no matter how much people like to tell you otherwise. This is your health and your life, don't give up on the possibility of finding your own solutions to your wellbeing and happiness.

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

    Hi Flex, hope you're well.

Well Melagenina plus was developed in Cuba, here is the link to the actual clinic.
    http://www.histoterapia-placentaria.cu/clinicai.htm

That is where I had my treatment and where I got the medicine.

here is a description of what it is

Melagenina Plus ( Melagenina + Calcium Chloride ) is an alcoholic extract of human placenta, a pharmacological product that can increase the reproduction of melanocytes in the borders or inside the acromic areas of the sick persons, as well as to accelerate the process of production of melanin, that is why it has become a successful therapy for Vitiligo.

Unfortunately North American doctors don't recognize this treatment, so there is no clinics in north america that I know of. Also buying anywhere that is not directly affiliated to the clinic may be dangerous as they sometimes water it down and therefore does not work.

Usually you are prescribed enough to last you a year ( medicine is used once a day, only in the affected areas), then you  go back and re-asses your progress and get more medicine to take with you for another year.

Depending on your financial situation it may be a sacrifice to go there but its been worth it.

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

I tried Melagenina, too. However, it didn`t helped me.
Demovat showed effections after a week and was much better.
This doesn`t mean that Melagenina don`t work at all but there are some who descripe also the Demovat repigmentation.

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

    Hello,
I just got some Meladinina from someone who swears it worked for him.  He just had spots all over, I have it pretty badly, my hands have very little pigment left.  He gets it from Mexico, he didn't tell me how much it was, he gave it to me.  It's a small bottle of liquid that you paint on, it burns my skin for a few minutes.  He also gave me pills.
He originally told me it cost about $10.00, it says $99 on the bottle, but that would be pesos, and I don't know what the conversion rate is on the peso.
    Hope that helps.

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

Hi,  I have posted this reply on the otherthread.  I have been applying Demovat for 3 weeks and nothing.  I am not sure if this is just another money making scam as its not sold anywhere but on Ebay and from a German seller.  I will post the results on all te forums in another 4 weeks.  I only hope you and the Ebay seller are genuine Vitligo sufferers and not just marketing your product and just playng on making money from the vulnerable.

There is no information on the full ingredient list.  I feel it may just be a nice smelling vaseline and nothing more.  More so it came in a tub with chinese writing on it.  I have some chinese friends and am going to aks them to translate it.

Please post the full ingredients list.  If it real you should be able to do this.  everyone reading thsi shoudl wait until I post my results befor ebuying.  Dont get ripped off.

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

Hi, Dermovat is a corticosteroid cream or pomad. It is not recommended to use long time as it thining the skin and ubnormal hair growth is possible. Also it may be affective for vitiligo in early age. I mean if your vitiligo for along, it may not give result. I know one doctor who had vitiligo used it and treated her vitiligo but lesions were very new as she told. She said it is ok but she wouldn't use it for her face. You can continue it for 2-3 months to see what happens cause some patients has good result with corticostreods. It is very welknown corticosteroid in Turkey and has being used for years and years without getting any trouble.

    Good luck,
    Sermin

Re: Melagenina Plus - so far so good.

My freinds just returned from Cuba with two bottles of Melagenina Plus.  They really care and wanted to help.  The problem is how do you take it and what is a typical dose.

I have spots all over my hands, a small spot on my elbow, and some small ones on my legs.

    Can you help please?
