Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Hi Bucki,
I give you some bad information the last time, im taking 50,000iu of vitamin D a week and the only way to get this is by your doctor. Im also taking vitamin b12, vitamin C, copper caps, anti oxidants, L-Lysine tablets, flax oil and last twice a week i take milk thistle tablets. My vitamin D levels were pretty low and is been 4 months on this 50,000. The last lab result show my levels are now on the low levels so the doctor is going to keep me on this for another 6 months and them see if i have to stay on this or reduce the dosis. Other things to consider on my case is that im suffering from type 2 diabetis. Never give up people, one day someone will find a cure for this disease and i hope i still alive to see it.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
hi im sabina im from the UK
My ten year old brother has had vitiligo for about a year and a half, his great grandad had it - which we didnt know about. Weve tried literally everything the pigmentum-inc was nothing but a total scam im actually still very angry about it. Hes always in fights at school because they will say rude things like "patchy paki" to him and being dark skinned only worsens the situation. He is undergoing regular psychotherapy which is usless to his condition.
The doctors have said to use various creams but all they seem to do is enhance his hormones and so hes become a fairly hairy ten year old and has now been told not to use them.
Its quite bad its covered most of his hands and feet as well as small patches around his eye from a scab that has spread and not gained colour, also around his mouth and elbows.
Weve lost hope now there has to be something we can do hes only ten years old and already hes going through so much.
So feel free to give any answers im open to sugesstions. Thank you

Newbie trying to get in touch with Raj
Hi y'all,
I am new to this forum. I am a 38 yr old turkish lady living in Austin, TX. I have read many of the threads here and my head is spinning, so much good info here. I stumbled upon your forum while researching Pigmentum. I almost bought it, but then I decided to run a quick google search and am I glad!! I did not buy the sucker :)
I think I had my patches for about 18 months now and they are spreading fast. I am attributing it to extreme stress. No one in my family had this disease. Started as a small spot on one hand, currently have 4" x 12" spots on my underarms, there a small spots appearing on thighs, belly, etc. In short, the darn thing is spreading.
I went to 2 different dermatologists, they just gave me topical creams and did not request any tests etc. I did not follow through with creams because it is really hard to use them on hands. I wash my hands frequently as I do plenty of housework and have a 3 yr old daughter.
I want to seriously take care of my health now. What kind of doctor should I see? A general family physician or someone specialized. What kind on tests are recommended? I got my thyroid tested due to severe weight gain and tests came back ok twice. Should I ask for a third test from a different lab?
Also, how is it with non-traditional medicine? Are there any really good pills, vitamins etc? As the area is very large and it is spreading fast, I do not want to rely on topical treatments.
In one of the threads, Raj had mentioned a medicine from India for liver detox. Could you please give me more info about this?? My husband is from Bombay, maybe we can get our hands on something similar.
Any info, any help is soooo appreciated.
Thanks,
Selen

Hey Sebina,
I read your post, sounds like some rude people. Anyway, you should check out Dr. Merry Li at www.merryclinic.com and use the vitamins and minerals that I posted here in August.
Folic Acid, B-12 Methylcobalmine not the regular B-12, L-Phenalanine, and have a diet of deep dark green vegetable and good fruit. I use a UVB Light which works slowly but it works. You should check these things out.
Thanks, Bryant

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Hello... I see that it's been a while since anybody has replied to this.... My name is Shelly... I live in San Diego, CA. I'm 23 yrs old and I first noticed 2 vitiligo spots on my middle and ring finger ( the spot the pencil/pen rests on) when I was 15. It is now on my hands, elbows, underarms, face, buttocks, knees and feet. I'm not self concious about it as much anymore. I just miss my old skin!
So when I ran into the Pigmentum-Inc. sometime last summer I decided to give it a try... I only bought 2 months worth to "try" it out and if I saw any results I would then go ahead and purchase the entire thing, and I saw results on my face within 2 weeks, little spots of color started forming by the end of the 2 months I saw color back on my elbows, face, underarms, knees, and hips. I funally saved up enough to purchase the entire thing and I am now waiting for them to come in the mail...
I am willing to share pictures of my progress, because all I keep reading on this site is negative comments about Pigmentum and it worked for me... I don't believe its a Scam!
I'm excitedly waiting for my package to come and be vitiligo free in the next couple of months.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Hi,
My name is Nicole 22 this year and I've had vitiligo on my neck for about 11 months. I think it is slowly spreading towards my face and so I'm trying to do something about it.
I was reading through the posts and was really curious about merryclinic.com. I read through the ingredient list and saw that it has turmeric as one of the ingredients. This got me confused as I read a study that said that turmeric hinders repigmentation. (http://www.vitiligo.eu.com/turmeric%20influence1.htm ). I'm not sure if it's true of course but it looked rather convinving. Have any of you seen success with those Vitilax pills from merryclinic yet? (babybox and raj?)
I have recently purchased Novitil from Dermabest and am waiting to try it out. I also bought this dark tanning lotion called Melansol : http://www.impex-intl.com/et_introduction.html If you go to the website www.vitiligo.ning.com, there is a lady called Valerie who has completely pigmented and shares some of her tips. Although she never personally used Melansol, a couple of her friends did and have seen positive results. As such, I decided to just give it a shot as well.
I should be getting these products in a couple days and will begin treatment and try to update you guys with how it is working. Meanwhile, does anyone else have any success stories to share, or any updating of condition?
Thanks!
Nic

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Hi All,
I am new to this forum but have had vitiligo for 7 years. I am 33 yrs old and live in the UK and the vitiligo effects my face mostly (around the eyes and lips) but I also have the white spots on my chest and underarm. I have seen a dermotologist and had the UV light which show other areas that may become affected an was given various creams to try but nothing has worked so far. In my last visit to them all they could pescribe was Veil cover cream and finishing power (makeup) and this was a few years back. I still use it but find i have to put it on thick now to cover the lines where the white marks stop.
I have read all of your comments and looked many times at ordering Pigmentum - but am not sure as a lot of you have said it's a possible scam. Although I don't want to waste my money I really want to try something that will clear the white patches on my face.
I can see that some of you tried Pigmentum last year, and others have been trying other treatments. I feel at that point where I am going to order Pigmentum just to try it, in the hope that it will work for me.
Does anyone have any updates about Pigmentum after trying it? or anything else you have tried thats worked? Does anyone use the Veil makeup and is there anything better out there now?
Look forward to hearing from you ![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
Pam.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Hi,
I ordered my first supply of Pigmentum plus in July of 2007 and the three week delivery time is a complete lie. It took numerous e mails to their handling agents CC NOW who process the orders, and finally after four months they arrived. I was very sceptical as to the benefit the tablets would bring, but as all Vitiligo sufferers will acknowledge....anything is worth a try!! I had previously travelled to Havana,Cuba to the clinic of Dr. Carlos Miyares Cao because I had heard of the good results of his wonder oil obtained from placenta ,for the rejuvenation of melalin in the body. After a complete examination by the clinic staff ,I was advised to buy 12 bottles of the oil, which equated to a years supply and duly followed the instructions to the letter. Total waste of time and a considerable amount of money! Next was the Pigmentum plus tablets. I ordered four months supply and to be fair , during my time taking the tablets,I did notice an improvement with spotting taking place on my hands (usually the last to see an improvement) and my eyelids were nearly back to normal. At the same time however, I was taking vitamin supplements and also half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in fruit juice every morning. I didn´t like the thought of not knowing the ingredients of the tablets and would have been much happier with an idea of what I was taking. However, when I finished the course and decided to order more tablets on May 19th 2008 , thats when the problems started. As I write this on Feb 15th 2009 , and after God knows how many e mails to CC NOW and Pigmentum plus-inc. , I am still without my order. CC NOW have washed their hands of anything they can do,and Pigmentum plus just send out a standard reply that "as the order is probably lost in the post " they are sending another by air mail !!!!WHAT......NINE TIMES !!!! I have notified Visa of the situation, and am awaiting a reply. Incidently, a friend of mine ordered from them and two weeks later had his credit card fraudulently used to the tune of €600,0
Straight companies do not use an address in New Zealand and then post from Pakistan. CC NOW did say that all of my complaints were passed on to Pigmentum for a solution. I begged them to send the tablets by registered courier, and I would pay the extra postage.......Nothing....No reply...not interested. If you want my advice, give this "company" a wide berth and save your money !! It´s a scam for sure .

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
Thanks for all of your info. It's been good to read all of the posts. I was so tempted to use Pigmentum as I just want to try something but think from your stories i will give this a wide birth. It sounds like it could work but thats only if you get it.
Does anyone know what I could try instead?? I'm really confused. The vitiligo is mainly around both of my eyes, kinda like a cute panda!!
Anything herbal? drinks? herbs? What about any good creams?
Thanks for reading and listening, Pam x

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
OK!! I'm actually new to all this. Guess I missed it.
Thanx.
I did think that it was nice to be able to talk to people who are in the same position as me. Guess you need to know your way around the system first before you try and chat aye.

Effects of Pigmentum Pro.
I'm 63 and have been taking Pigmentum Pro for about three months, my small patch of white skin on my face is still there, but my gray hair on my head and beard has turned very dark. Friends don't believe that I have not been coloring my hair.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?
My experience of Pigmentum is quite different. I, like so many others, decided to try it after looking at their impressive website. I took it for over a year, having various problems along the way with orders not being delivered etc. I queried with them several times that nothing seemed to be happening and was always told to 'stick with it'. Eventually, having found various entries on the internet saying it was a scam I emailed them and said I would like my money back. I, of course, received nothing. Despite trying to contact them many times they did not have the courtesy to reply. I firmly believe the product is nothing but a scam. After doing lots of research myself I started taking a combination of vitamins etc in about March last year. Also letting my skin get controlled exposure to the sun (when it's around in England!) I have noticed considerable improvement - I mainly have vitiligo on my hands and arms and they are much improved. A couple of spots I had on my neck have completely disappeared. I take Copper, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid and L-Tyrosene. All I know is it seems to be working (all beit fairly slowly) for me. All the information I picked up about these was from individuals suffering from Vitiligo and not from a company trying to make you buy a product!
