Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

ive been a vitiligo sufferer for 11 years of my life. I have been taking pigmentum for 4 months now and its almost gone. it starts off giving you a spotty(skin color) look on the area and it creates pigment until the white spot is all gone. i have been to almost 12 doctors around the US and nothing worked, ordered different types of pills and nothing, i even went to a chinese herbalist in New York. I came across pigmentum and ordered it, it takes a long time to get to your house, and it comes from Pakistan. But i swear to you it works. Even when all my pigment returns, I plan to take it for 3 months(recommended) to make sure its permanent.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

i had success with pigmentum, i had vitiligo for 11 years and I ordered it, i know it looks completely fake, but i had nothing to lose and i ordered it. It took a long time to get to the house because it came from pakistan and it works. i swear. i have been to alot of doctors around the US and nothing worked. Its an herbal pill and it starts making the vitiligo look spotty(with own skin color) and fills the unpigmented area with your skin color. I also stopped for 7 months and no spot turned white again, so i know its permanent. Best investment Ive made. I had vitiligo around 15% of my body and now its almost gone!!! I have pictures of the spotty look too!!

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

hi Raj, Just to let you know my experiences with Pigmentum. I ordered two bottles that I took from October until January and I definately noticed improvement. Patches on my hands and upper chest cleared up --- my husband commented on it. I was disturbed by not knowing what's in them (and getting no response when I asked) but really happy to see something working. So I ordered two more bottles in late January and they didn't arrive, didn't arrive, etc. When I contacted them they said "lost in the mail" and they'd send via airmail. Two months later they showed up. One of the bottles had its foil seal torn open. A bit unsettling all things considered. I'm not sure its a scam since they did help but the company is definately weird. You mentioned it can be dangerous to take psoralea? Not sure what to do. I would like the remaining patches cleared and I've got no interest in laser therapy. I also tried Anti-Vitiligo Herbal Remedy (True Herbals is the company) and it helped a bit. The Pigmentum worked better though.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

I finally received my order of Pigmentum in a package that had been torn open and resealed (I assume by postal inspectors since it was shipped from Pakistan). A quick Google search brought up pigmentum as another name for indigo dye, which just happens to come from India and Pakistan. So I am very skeptical that the non-disclosed magic herb in this stuff may simply be indigo dye. But since I have had no luck so far with the Protopic cream prescribed by my dermatologist, I will use the Pigmentum as directed and report back here on the result.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

So I started Pigmentum about 2 weeks ago, of course it's to soon to see any results so I can't tell you if it works yet but I haven't felt any side effects from using it. I do agree that the company is a bit sketchy. They took about 3-4 weeks to send the pills. I had to email them but once I did,  I received the package from Pakistan the next day (weird...but I swore the site said their from New Zealand ...weird again). I also received an email before the package arrived (which I'm sure they send  that same email to everyone who is waiting for their package). Well with all that mini-craziness being said, I just want the pills to work !! So Bad!! I'm tired of not feeling comfortable showing my face without makeup...Tired of seeing new spots...and I'm just tired of spending so much money on makeup. I'm going to try to keep everyone posted on the pills, I want to take them for the complete 4 months they recommended. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

Thats encouraging.  My husband has had it very badly for approx 2 yrs now.  And nothing seems to be working.  The light treatments - 2 a week - and the Protopic do not seem to be helping at all.  It keeps getting worse.  We ordered the 800 of Pigmentum Pro.  What kind do u take & how many a day?  Do you do any light treatments or take protopic along with the pigmentum?  Thanks for your time!

    Hi EverlastingKiss,

That reply was meant for u.  Your success sounds promising.  My husbands supply just arrived.  We ordered the Pigmentum Pro.  It says to take them twice a day, mornings and evenings.  It doesn't say how many to take.  Is it 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening?   I'll recheck their website and email them if necessary.  What kind r u taking and how many a day?  R u still doing other treatments too?  Thanks for any input.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

I fell for the pigmentum scam too.
A few months later I later discovered how efficient nbUVB (narrow band UVB) is. I bought a lamp (Dermalight 80) and 6 month into the treatment my spots are almost gone. You can check my repigmentation pictures here: vitiligo pictures
Also, part of my coping strategy I started a website with vitiligo news, interviews and advice for other vities. The address is http://www.vitiligozone.com

To my own understanding , i think black pepper or piperine be taken than external usage for easy penetration into the blood stream.
well , can any one shed more light on that.
