Hi,

I have really dark patches of skin alongside white patches of skin on my penis and testicles.
The hair on my *** has also turned white.

I was wondering if there are any other people with a similair type of vitiligo on here and how they have coped with it?

Is there any form of treatment for this due to the skin in that area being so sensitive?

Hi, I was diagnosed with vitiligo one year ago, I am fair skinned and have one small white patch on my face. However I have white patches all over my penis and my testicles are pinky white as all the natural colour has disappeared. patches of my pubic hair is white too. which , apparently is normal in this condition. My doctor told me that there is no treatment that is effective and iI just have to live with it. On a day to day basis it doesn't bother me. Im just glad I have a partner as I imagine trying to find one with a scary penis wouldn't be much fun. And Im also 47 so I guess I may have stayed alone for some time. !! Anyway worse things happen at sea. take care and try not to worry. Its not what it looks like Its what you do with it that counts. cheers. steevo

I have white patches just underneath the pennis-head (whatever you call it lol) and white patches on the right side between the right testical and the right leg ...

there r not white hair growing, (yet) !
But some ppl tend to get white hair on the white patches ... is not in my case.

Crappy vitiligo

My vitiligo started on my *** about 10 years ago - just after I had chicken pox. I was 36 at the time. Started out as two spots (one on each side) about the size of a dime. Over the years, the spots have enlarged to about 2 inches x 2 inches. The spots have since spread to my penis and along the scrotal fold (where the two halves of the *** meet). The hair turned white/grey. My doctor told me there was nothing that could be done.
