Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

well, I have only been taking the pills for about a month so far and i did start the B-12 supplement at the same time.  You raise a good question though, I am not sure which pill is working.  I really hope it does work though becuase I am very self-concious.  I was also worried about the pills coming from Pakistan becuase of the terrorism and such.  I will definitely keep you posted on my progress.

    Raj,

What was going on with your liver?  That is worrisome so I understand you stopping the treatment.  Those pills do have a funny smell to them...and the place they came from is not very re-assuring.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

Hi Tiffany,  I had major liver issues in that I had very high Gamma GT and ALT values in my Liver Function  tests.  They were 4 times the highest value.  The issue with Pigmentum for me was only I don't know whats in it. Every other treatment whether from the US, India, Pakistan or anywhere else state the contents without worrying about plagarism.  I was worried about taking pills which may have contents that may stress my Liver, with it being normal when last checked.  I had another 6monthly test on Monday and will know the results next week.

If you open it up there is a powder inside and its does smell like normal herbal medicine.  Its supposed to be based on Unani medcicine which is well known.  I bet it has psoralea seed powder in it but how much I dont know.  Most medcines do even merryclinic Vitilax pills.  I asked Dr Li from the Merry Clinic about it and she did say many of her patients had tried it without success, so it cant be doing any harm.

As its working for you maybe carry on.  To be sure maybe have a Liver Function test done and if all OK then great.  After taking the pills for a month if somethings going to show up it will.  Will be nice to know.  Saying that the peopel whohave taken Pigmentum before on the international forum never reported any side effects only that it didnt work for them.

Problem with taking Vitamins with herbal medicine its hard to know but B12 does from what I have read really help.

Hello all, I have just joined your very informative site, I feel that I have to strongly warn you about Pigmentum Inc.....I ordered 6 months supply of these so called tablets in early January and I am still waiting for delivery.......despite me messaging these people and spending nearly £80 they still do not respond........I have finally now had a refund from MY BANK....This was because I paid using Visa.

My mother-in-laws cousin lives in New Zealand and I asked him to make enquiries about this company in Wellington.......he could not get into the building at all.......so my advice to you all is steer clear of these people they are crooks......Barclays however, did tell me that they have an office somewhere in England........does anyone know if Dr Li's tablets work?    regards tj2

    Raj:

Could you lease share what Ayurvedic herbal treatment you took from Dr in India for 3 months to bring your liver functions, cholesterol, and Gamma GT levels to normal?

    Thank you in advance

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

    Hi, Raj:

I haven't been on the site in a bit, but wanted to let you know that the doctor still stands by her first opinion--that my daughter does not have vitiligo. She also ruled out the fungal infection.

I took her to the friend of a friend who does electrodermal screening for a variety of conditions. She has helped many people in my church with illnesses such as Graves disease, etc. and I thought it was worth a try to take my daughter to see her. When I explained my daughter's condition, she knew right away what to give her for it. She gave me something called Purification Oil by Young Living. It's all natural and is a mixture of essential oils. There are many uses for it; you can dilute it or apply a tiny undiluted amount to the affected area.

In the two weeks that she's been using the oil (2-3 times daily), we have both noticed improvement in the white spots. One spot with pigment is growing larger and the 2-3 small white spots are completely gone. I am very encouraged, especially because there is nothing in the oil that would harm her. So far, so good. I will take my daughter back in August for the electrodermal screening (she is booked until then). The clinic does not offer testing for vitiligo but does offer testing for the immune system.

The clinic is owned by Danette Goodyear ( I call her Dee) and she is currently earning a Doctor of Naturopathy. The website address is http://www.northtexasdynamichealth.com/services.htm. There is also information about the product line she uses. That can be found under the links section and Young Living Essential Oils. I paid about $21.00 for the Purification Oil, so it's definitely worth a try; much better and safer than products from a company who won't respond to emails and is located in Pakistan (or wherever they may be). Take care.

Hi,  Thats really good news.  Your daughter and you muct so releived.  Excellent.

Why does your Dr think its not vitiligo? What does the Dr think your Daughter has?

The oil sounds interesting.  Your friend what does she think your daughters condition is?  Why does she feel the oil was the right treatment?  What are the ingredients?  Does it also require sunlight?

I cant use any topical ointments as I react aggresively to the ingredients I.E psoralea, bergamot oils, etc.  Maybe this is an option for me.

I am taking Vitilax pills but cant use the Vitilax oils due the reaction.

Sorry for all the questions.  Your right I definatly dont like these dodgy sounding products from black hole companies in Pakistan. :-)

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

    Hi, Raj:

The doctor doesn't seem to think it's vitiligo because of the pattern, yet she also doesn't believe it because there is no family history. I think she is using whatever experience she has in dealing with it to make this determination but she is really convinced that the depigmentation was caused by a trauma to her thumb rather than vitiligo.

We went to see Dee during spring break; I was just going on a hunch since she has helped so many other people I know. She looked up the condition to determine a treatment plan and she also knew because she has treated one vitiligo case. She told me that she saw great success and the pigment returned in that person but he/she moved to another state and she doesn't know the end result or whether that person continued with the oil.

Here is the information from the website about Purification Oil below. My daughter's skin is VERY sensitive (she has eczema that we are working to clear up) and we have had nothing but success so far. She is not sensitive to it, thank God!

How to use: For topical or aromatic use. Diffuse, apply topically on location as needed, or put on cotton balls to place in air vents of home, car, hotel room and office. Diffuse and rub on feet for cleansing.

Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Dilution not required; suitable for all but the most sensitive skin. Generally safe for children over 2 years of age.

Ingredients: Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus), lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), Melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifolia) lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida), and myrtle (Myrtus communis).

I hope this helps. If you want to try it and have questions, contact Danette via email or phone. She has vast knowledge of health. My plan is to continue treatment with Dee/Danette since we are showing signs of success, and discontinue seeing the dermatologist for now. I always favor alternative/natural medicine over others until there is a need. I'll continue to keep you posted of progress.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

Hi, Vitiligo is also caused by trauma.  I think I wrote about a girl I know who got vitiligo when she was young, after she scrapped her face on falling over.  Its all recovered now and never came back.  Anyway it doesn't matter what the Dr beleives as your daughter is seeing improvement which is most important.  I have had friends with Eczema.  It totally cleared up by changing diet I:E removing dairy and most meats.  Diet seems to have an affect with eczema recovery.  Try removing dairy for a month or two and see if it helps. If not then maybe red meat as well.  Generally dairy seems to do it in the main.

I emailed dee via her website and asked about the oil.  When she replies I may order some and try it as well.  Glad to see its not affecting your Daughter.  I have tried other topical oils and they all make my skin turn red raw and sometimes even blister, as well as making it over sensitive to sunlight that can cause burning.

Keep us informed.  Its realy good to see people improve which helps us all try good ideas.

Seems following your gut feeling worked out.  Maybe a message in that.

Excellent.  Take Care and fingers crossed for more.

Thanks for the tips on getting the eczema under control. I will work this plan to see what happens. I hope you hear back from Dee soon and that you will be able to try the oil without any negative effects.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

Hi,  Sorry for the late reply.  The Dr was recommended to me by a friedn from une who now lives in the UK.  The Ayurvedic Dr's name is Dr Sachin Nandedkar [drk2s@yahoo.co.in] Phone: 0091-9422327472 .  I think he is really good.  I misplaced the oil he gave me to apply daily but the tablets and powder I completed.  They definately worked to stabilise it.  It is similar to that of Dr Li's Liver Detox pills but  cant tell you the ingredients as he didnt tell me and I didnt ask at the time.

Give him a call and tell him I passed on his details.  He posted me the  3 montsh medicien.  you will need ti change your diet quite a bit. Sinec starting his tretament and applying another oil I have regained 30% of my colour already. But it has been at leats 12months now.

Re: Pigmentum - Has anyone had sucess with this?

    Hi Raj,

Found this forum today.  Have been using pigmentum for about a year and am now thinking I've been conned! Thought it was working until a few weeks ago but having just had a few days in the sun I now think it has infact spread.  I've sent them an email because they just changed to capsules, and I may be imagining it but I think it was working up to then.  Having said that, now I've read everything on the forum I think it is probably just a con.

Particularly interested in what was being said about the B12 and also the purification oil.  Have you any more information on those?  Nice to think there are others out there with the same issues!!

    Re: Vitiligo

    Hello all,

I came across this forum because I was trying to see if anyone knew about the pills from New Zeland.  I'm new to this site but I've read each and every comment.  I'm devastaded.  My 16 year old son has been diagnosed wih Vitiligo and as all of you, I'm searching for a cure!  He has spots on his hands, knees, elbows, private parts and just today one on his face, by his nose/eye.  He started 3 months ago. His dermatologists has prescribed two medications, 1-is Clobetasol ointment for hands, knees and elbows and 2-Protopic ointment for his face.  Has anyone used these medications for Vitiligo and if so, can you please tell me how you did?

I've been researching Vitiligo on the net but there are so many false companies advertizing a cure it's disgusting!  However, a friend of mine told me to look for a clinic in Cuba that provides a cure for Vitiligo.  I found the site and according to the site they use a product that they invented and which you can only acquire in that country called Melagenina  Plus (Melagenina + Cloruro de Calcio) which is made of alcoholic extract of the human placenta.  If you want to read more about it go to http://www.histoterapia-placentaria.cu/informai.htm

where you will be able to read some information in English. Their site is  http://www.histoterapia-placentaria.cu/  Has anyone heard anything at all about this? Would anyone think is worth the try and the risk?

I don't know what to do, or what to say to my son. He's in a very delicate and important time of his life and this will change his whole life.  I only cry in silence because I know what's coming to him.  I wish it was me not him.  Anything any one can advice?  Thanks for reading, caring and providing feedback on this site.

    Re: Vitiligo

    Hi Isa,

Sorry your son has Vitiligo but I personally would steer of Clobetasol as it suppresses and can make it worse.  Its a steroid.  Some poeple have tried protopic with success with other internal medication.  Some have also used Melengina.  See international forum and search there, its great and many 1000's use it.  I have personally gained much form what I have read.  http://www.vitiligosupport.org/

If you have read this thread then you will know I personally beleive and have experienced myself, that internal issues are the bedrock to its manifestation on the skin.  Have you had Liver LFT, Gamma GT, thyroid checked yet?  Many Vit sufferrers have Liver issues.  You must sort this first if there is something.  Often malfunction in the Liver may lead to toxin imbalance and also oxidative stress, which is prevelant in Vit.

How did it start?  Was it a fall that sparked it or it just came up?   I would be very positive as your son is I guess young so will no doubt recover if you follow teh simple principle:

    1. Adress internal imbalances
    2. Change food diet Cut out dairy, red meat
    3. Juice daily dark veg I.E: Dark cabbage, carrots, celery, Brocolli.  Carrots contain atalase and also psoralen as does celery so will help when he is in the Sun.

You can look at medcine after the internals are proven to be OK.  Time is what it will take also.

    Keep in touch.
