    Re: does it work???

    Sakshi

I live in Delhi and got diagnosed with Vitiligo 6 months back.

I have vitiligo below my eyes, a small spot on one side of the nose, a small circular spot on the neck, on the middle of my chest, all of my finger tips, middle of the fingers, sides of my thumb, my palm and my hands.

I am using Babchi oil for 4 days plus taking homeopathic treatment for past 6 months.

Firstly would very much like to hear your progress using the oil.

Secondly, to share my experience -

    a) the spread has to stop and topical applications are reactive and not effective to stop the spread of vitiligo. To stop the spread it is very important to have homeopathic medicine and a change to a healthy lifestyle. Stress and poor lifestyle habbits are a BIG BIG contributor to Vitiligo (this is what happened in my case, first migraine, then hypothyroidism then cholesterol, then vitiligo). So first important thing the spread of vitiligo needs to be stopped.

    b) Since time I have started applying Babchi Oil (4 days back) following spots have turned red - side of the thumb, the back of the hand, middle of the finger, the chest (it burns and itches badly there), the eyes and the neck. I dont know if it is working or not, but I would like to hear your experiences. My homeo doctor's views are that turning red and itching are good signs (though he does not know I am using Babchi oill). But his medicines have definitely slowed the spread of vitiligo, for last 1 month no new spots have emerged.

Do let me know your experience of repigmentation. Does Babchi oil really help?

    Re: does it work???

Sakshi my learnings - hope it helps you.

I was diagnozed with Vitiligo 7 months back. Initially the homeopathic medicine showed positive results with few spots going away but suddenly the spots started increasing in size (between June and September I saw maximum increase in the number of spots in my body). The condition has definitely deteriorated since first time it was diagnosed. However, since October no new spots have emerged.

Today, I have vitiligo below my eyes, a small spot on one side of the nose, a small circular spot on the neck, on the middle of my chest, all of my finger tips, small spots in middle of the fingers, sides of my thumb, my palm and my hands.

I am using Babchi oil plus Neem Oil for 4 days plus taking homeopathic treatment for past 7 months.

Firstly would very much like to hear your progress using the Babchi oil.

Secondly, to share my experience -

    a) the spread has to stop and topical applications are reactive and not effective to stop the spread of vitiligo. To stop the spread it is very important to have homeopathic medicine and a change to a healthy lifestyle. Stress and poor lifestyle habbits are a BIG BIG contributor to Vitiligo (this is what happened in my case - first came migraine, then came hypothyroidism then came cholesterol, then came vitiligo). Hypothyroidism - Vitiligo - Stress is a deadly triangle and this needs to be managed very very effectively.

Today, with a mixture of yoga (there are 10 yogic exercises to be done 90 minutes daily), exercises (weight loss), proper sleeps (8 hours), homeopathic medicine (chose a right and qualified doctor), right diet (very important), care to damn attitude (means learn to manage stress), positive thinking (acceptance of vitiligo and support of loved ones), homeopathic medicines from a qualified doctor who reviews me every 2 weeks and use of Babchi Oil + Neem Oil + 30 minutes of sunlight daily -
    1. My thyroid levels are at TSH 1.0
    2. My cholesterol is in the right range.
    3. My migraine has completely disappeared.
    and
    4. Some of my vitiligo spots have turned red.
    5. Most of my other vitiligo spots are not white, but they are pinkish (dont know whether this is a positive effect or not). I mean when seen in the day light they seem pink.

    So my learnings:

    1. First important thing the spread of vitiligo needs to be stopped. This can only happen with a lifestyle change.

    2. Since time I have started applying Babchi Oil (4 days back) following spots have turned red - side of the thumb, the back of the hand, middle of the finger, the chest (it burns and itches badly there), the eyes and the neck. I dont know if it is working or not, but I would like to hear your experiences.

My homeo doctor's views are that turning red and itching are good signs - since the melanin is completely absent there should not be any itching on the vitiligo spots, but if it is red, itching and has not had any oozing of liquid then it is considered positive (though he does not know I am using Babchi oill). But his medicines have definitely slowed the spread of vitiligo, for last 1 month no new spots have emerged.

Do let me know your experience of repigmentation. Does Babchi oil really help?

I am posting this because, when this first came in my case I went through an extreme mental trauma, but given the hard nut I am (this contributed to my stress in first place) I am not giving up hope and fighting this disorder.

    Cheers.

    Re: does it work???

    Sakshi

Here is my progress - 7 days of Babchi oil plus lots of other disciplined things and my spots on chest - gone, my spot on eyes - red, my spot on fingers - turning pink.

Use Hamdard Babchi Oil plus Neem Oil (2 times daily) and expose to sunlight for 30 minutes. Sunlight is a MUST.

    1. Yoga (all the 7 pranayamas) & exercises (daily jog or walk for 45 mins)
    2. Homepoathy (need a specialist doctor) - you need a discipline here - without fail the course has to be for 2-3 years.
    3. Babchi oil (Hamdard)
    4. Vitamin B Complex
    5. Healthy diet (ZERO NON VEG, Low Proteins & Low Salt)
    6. Healthy lifestyle (8 hours sleep)
    7. Water from copper vessel
    8. Eltroxin for thyroid (I have Hypothyroidism)
    10. 30-40 minutes of sunlight after application of oil

Let me know your progress. I am in Paschim Vihar in Delhi, where abouts in Delhi you are?

    Re: does it work???

    Kapalbhati - 30 mins
    anulom vilom - 15 mins
    bhastrika - 5 mins
    Ujjayi - 5 mins
    Bhramari - 5 mins
    Sarvangasana/ Shoulder stand - 5 mins
    Matsyasana - 5 mins

Copper vessel water plus try to have food in copper utensils

Use the oil VERY carefully. It can burn you if you dont use it properly. Do it under ayurvedic's medical supervision. Sunlight 30 mins is early morning or late evening. Not afternoon - it will damage you badly (it happened with me two times but I have learnt to manage the Babchi oil carefully).

Vitamin B complex once a day.

Hows your stress level? Anything you do in this disorder - If stress is not controlled all medications will FAIL.

What is the extent of your disorder now?

Write to me at pete_puneet@yahoo.com in case you wish to ask anything.

    Cheers

    Re: does it work???

tke a bath in warm water.. then apply the babchi oil (few drops - not much) - gently rub it in the spots - then apply neem oil and again gently rub it in - then expose to sun light for 10-15 mins (before 8 am and after 4 pm) - 2 times daily.
if it itches not a problem - it is supposed to itch but if it burns or oozes liquid discontinue or moderate the oil

    Re: does it work???

    hey whats ur progress.

Here is my update. It is 10th day of my using Babchi oil plus continuing my other course. I have stopped Vitamin B12 capsules for sometime.

The spots below my eyes - they have turned red pink and seems to turn to brown in some areas. But seen from a distance they are completely merged with the brown skin. At least they are no longer white.

The spots on the nose - turned pink reddish - visible if seen from a close distance.

The spots on neck - 1 is nearly gone and other one is turning brown.

The spots on chest - 1 big one in the center has red spots all over it. It is no longer visible as white from a distance but reddish brown.

Though I have severe irritation on the other parts of chest and arms - I believe I have some allergic reaction - will check with my doctor in 2 days if it does not improve. It is not sun burns.

My hands (this is the toughest part) -
    finger tips - pinkish
fingers - can see very very small reddish spots (I believe these were new spots coming that otherwise were not visible but because of my course are now turning visible - they are red in color)
Palm - There was a huge white spot in the center of the palm - I cannot see it.
Thumb - turned pinkish red - initially it was very white, but now I can see pink red color on my thumbs.
The finger webbings - turning pink

I guess hand will be the toughest one and may cure beyond 1 year.

So far no major new spots on body except on nose & arms but they are also reddish pink and not white. And it itches on them where as in Vitiligo the spots have no itching.

Overall I feel things are progressing. After 10 horrrible days of using Babchi - I no longer have the itching and burning sensation on the spots - so I guess the medication is settling inside now.

    Re: does it work???

    hiii puneet...

gr8 yaar its working wonders for you, touchwood.

    hmm..my progress

as suggested by u im taking vitamin b complex regularly and drinking water from copper.

im trying to arrange for plate spoon and otherstuff also.

abt babchi paste which i told u earlier i was applying im still applying in the night and sleep with it.

i hav added exercise in my schedule but i dont have much tym right now as its 12th nd i hav to studdy also...n skool work too.

so half and hour exercise(kapal bharti nad anlom-vilom)

babchi oil its been just 2 days of usage and i can apply only in the morning and sit in sunlight for 30 minutes...cant apply in the evening as i hav tutions..managing al the things i have for the time being.

im trying to be happy nd stress free..

so a recent spot on my leg due to accident has shown the major change as it is quite new one... quite reddish now..nd my brown spots in it.

on my face i can see the major changes around my nose as it has turned light pinkish red..nd little bit brown spots.

my other areas like i hav around my mouth area has subsided a bit not turned pink yet but is not glowing 2 white.

one more thing i dunno if it works but yeah someone told me to eat raw onion (small one) in the morning before brushing..so i had started eating earlier for 20days but left because it gave bad odour to my mouth..but it showed changes in my spots not pinkish but brown spots started appearing in just 20 days of eating and my spots shrienked..so i have started again on this.

so u can even try if it works for u...one more thing its strange but babchi oil isnt itching on my skin mayebe because i aws applying babchi paste eariler before starting thisfor 10 days...is it a good indication or bad???nd when should i wash my face after application i mean how much time it should stay??

    thanx a lot..keep updating :)

    Re: does it work???

    Sakshi

Best of luck for your exams.

Few things please take care with Babchi -

apply only little and take the first morning sun - i.e. 7.30 am for 30 mins. Please avoid afternoon sun (i was very fair and i have tanned a bit and trust me the spots look very ugly in my hand). My doctor has threatened to pack me of to Africa if I have any interest in tanning myself.

Babchi + SUN is a must - and it should only be 1-2 times a day - dont apply and sleep overnight - that is of no use - anyways my learning - dont over do Babchi coz you are seeing a change in color - pigmentation is still a long distance away.

Spots turning red - not a good sign - they will itch and burn. If it itches - dont discontinue - moderate usage. If it is burning and paining - Avoid for sometime.

Spots turning pink - very good sign and if it is light pink - excellent. If it is red or red pink - bad sign - moderate usage.

Good you are showing little irritating reaction to Babchi - I have had a horrible 10 days sometimes waking up in middle of night with severe itching. But now its settling down to mere itching which I avoid.

I cannot have onion due to homepathy - also it causes me hyper acidity - a BIG contributor to Vitiligo.

Washing your face - I guess give yourself at least 1 hour - i.e. if you sit in sun betwen 7.30 and 8.00 then wash off by 8.30.

    The progress so far -

Spots below eyes - merging with skin - brownish red - and has itching - doctor's view - still lots of time before pigmentation, but itching is a good sign.

Spots on nose - Pink - no itching - good sign I hope.

Spots on the neck - Pinkish Brown kinda color - No itching - good sign

Another spot on neck - nearly gone.

Spot on chest - Pinkish (they were flaming red few days back) - Itching still there but gradually settling down - pigmentation - still some time away. But good thing is when I see my chest from a distance - I cannot distinguish white spots any longer.

Hand - this is where I made a mistake but its not a big mistake - My hand is "Light Pink on finger tips" to "Pink shade on the palm and the thumb". It has started irritating a bit on the hand but I can bear the irritation so I dont touch it.

My view after 10 days of Babchi - Use in moderation - Pigmentation if it happens is a 6-12 month process.

It aint gonna clear completely unless you reverse the internal process that caused it in first place. I am optimistic guy - I do believe when I hear your progress - But I have a big big learning - dont experiment too much. This is a slow battle and has to be won with perseverance.

    Cheers
