    vitlligo tab

    Hi

I have just joined the forum. My 5 year old daugher developed vitiligo about 6 months ago - she has got it around her eyes and her stomache. It seems to be spreading which is worrying my husband and I. we feel helpless but are confused with all the 'herbal' medicines which are advertised.

i saw one called Vitiligo Tab - has anybody used this - or can anybody recomment other treatments which have worked.

    Thanks

    Re: vitlligo tab

    Hi,
I have tried desi Herbal junk, and nothing help. I had white spots size of a Quarter on my face, and using Protopic & Dovonex got rid of them with in a Month. For tough Spots I have been using UVB light treatment, and I had 90% success. I stopped light treatment for 2 years, and it started to comeback and I just bought the light treatment unit and continuing my treatment.

Don't waste time with Herbal stuff unless somebody who experienced it personally recommends it.

    Re: vitlligo tab

Hi, I have tried it. I was excited at first but it generally did not do much. It is very difficult with Vitiligo to know if something is working because the disease is active so you do not know it the tablet is actually slowing down the spreading, increases the spreading or nothing. Vitiligo is now being acknowledge as an Autoimmune disease. I too discovered a thyroid condition with the disease. My cousin is a brilliant physian and in passing said that he recommends to his patients Vitamin D. I have been taking Nature Made vitamin D and the Nature Made Calcium supplement for 3 weeks now. So far it has done wonders to bring more pigment to my skin. It does not bring pigment to the center of the white spots. I have also tried Protropic and another herbal tab from Life Force with little help.

I wish you some help with this.

    Re: vitlligo tab

Yes I have and if its the same thing your asking about, it did nothing for me.  As a matter of fact spots started increasing after I stoped taking it.  I was suppost to take it for 4 sold months twice a day which I did.  It costed 139.00 dollars and did nothing for me.  My doctor sayed I needed to get my money back I was riped off.
